Claws with Pin Adapters for Yakima RailGrab Roof Rack Towers

Product arrived earlier than stated, and fit as expected. Had a great summer on the ocean fishing for cod in part to these little pin adapters. Fit my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe reasonably well and had no issues supporting my 83 pound kayak on yakima roof rack.1438214

These pins allowed me to reuse my Yakima Railgrab rack on our 2009 Q7, which I am very thankful for since I didn't necessarily want to buy a new rack if I didn't have to. However, the angle of the adapters doesn't allow for full insertion of the pins into the corresponding holes of the Q7's flush rails. It works, but doesn't have the proper fit and finish expected.413885

Yakima OEM part (high quality metal parts). Purchased for my 2016 Kia Sorento. Pins fit my factory rail holes though they are about half the diameter of the rail holes. For my car, only needed the pins as the small claws that came with the pins were actually too small so I switched back to original (longer) claws that came with my Railgrabs. I don't get three points of contact against my factory rails (as Yakima recommends) due to their unique design but the bars are installed very tight to the factory rails and I only put a basket on top with beach chairs (not bikes).269931

I used these to attach onto my Toyota Venza. I would venture to guess any roof rack that has a screw hole embedded on the inside of the roof rail will accept these, not just Audi. Very happy and haven't had any issues.548128

I ordered these thinking it would work for my sons 2018 Audi Q7. The short claw with pin adaptor did not work with his Audi but the part that holds the claw worked with the Railgrab short claws I ordered for my 2005 Honda Pilot. etrailer staff were helpful in answering my questions.1119430
