Hello neighbors, I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this replacement body frame for your Thule Elite Van XT Bike Racks. That's right folks, this is just a direct Thule replacement part, the body of your Thule Elite Van XT Bike Rack. If you're not familiar with what that rack look like, here's one option, we sell two different options. Now these are gonna fit most Sprinter vans, Dodge, Mercedes, Freightliner, and one of the other styles is gonna fit the ProMaster vans, just depends on which rack you get. Now I'll throw both of those item numbers up here on the screen, if you don't have one already, you can check them out.

Also, check our fit guide, etrailer.com, top center of the homepage. Make sure you put in your make and model, get the right one for your specific vehicle. Now that being said, again, this will attach to the top and bottom of the mounting rails on the rack itself. So again, you should already have that rack if you're getting this part. For whatever reason, yours got bend or damaged, no biggie, we got you covered.

So there is some wing nuts here, and on the other side, you simply just loosen them up. That'll allow you to pivot this. Let me loosen the other one a little bit more, there we go. You can pivot this or down. Now in the whole rack, you've got some arms that kind of hang on this, so again, that would determine your angle of approach, let's say.

So that just depends on what you're doing, let me zoom in here. Now you can see that nut a lot better. So we're tightening that. You can kind of see in here those teeth coming together. And then if I spin it around to the other side and tighten it, now you can see the attachment point and also this one coming together right here.

Now again, this will attach to the top and bottom mount rails of that complete rack, so that's what that slot's for. I do want to note that whenever you get this rack, keep in mind there is some drilling required to install that rack onto the back door of those vans I was mentioning, so just keep that in mind. It's not a big deal, they give you everything you need to get it complete. It's a big seller here at etrailer, a lot of people love 'em, especially in the back of the RVs.
