Used these along with some t-channel bolts to mount an old style cargo box to the top of the Aero bars on my new car, works great, can’t have big bulky clamps below the bars because of the clearance needed to open the sun roof :-)
These cradles are too thin for my Thule. Thinner than the original ones, which dont raise the Thule up enough. My coffin rests on the crossbars. These provide support, but not nearly enough
These parts are poorly designed leading them to continually fall off and break, requiring replacement. Not the fault of etrailer.com but of Thule. Someone needs to redesign this part so it is durable and doesn't fall off when the carrier is off the vehicle! As far as eTrailer.com, they deliver these when they said and for a relatively reasonable cost considering other sites on the web. Again, this product should never need to be replaced if designed properly by Thule in the first place!
