Replacement AcuTight Mounting Hardware with Screw

I ordered a replacement for the mounting hardware on my older Thule cargo box. Etrailer sent me the wrong part and when I brought this to their attention they: found me the correct part; shipped it to me expedited UPS; and issued a return authorization for the wrong part...all at no cost to me. The correct part arrived two days later and fits perfectly.

Needed the part for my Thule box as original part had seized. I found etrailer online searching and took a shot ordering from them. (wondered if Id get an aftermarket knockoff even though it had original part number listed as I never used them and wasn't familiar with etrailer but figured as long as it worked). Regarding the product: Thule should be ashamed of making such a flimsy piece of crap. These were on a Thule Sonic XL that I use on our 2004 Toyota 4runner Sport. Both of the turn knobs on the AccuTight on same side of the box striped out and were rendered useless. Thankfully etrailer.com had them in stock for a great price and was able to ship them out quickly.276330

Worked well, good replacement. My thule fell over on the clamps and they are not sturdy, but this is exactly the same product as they used, so I was able to swap it in minutes.526455

Amazed at how everything fit, literally could not tell the difference between original part and the one that they sent. They did have difficulty in getting the part info needed, but they called the company while I was on the phone and nailed it!
