Exactly what I needed to make my old box fit new bars
30 year old Thule Mountaineer cartop carrier, used on many SUV's. I've overtightened every time, finally cracking to smithereens all 4, of course realized as I was putting on my Ford just days before another trip. I was going to MacGyver a solution but found etrailer on line.

Heading to the east coast and only decided to take our old Thule Adventurer with us that we hadn't used in years. Discovered that we needed spare parts with less than a week to go. We have taken many trips this past year using the new brackets we bought for our roof storage box. The box is generally packed at its weight limit and these brackets have worked great. I see no signs of them wearing or cracking.

What can I say, it's a piece of plastic, identical to the original. Price was right, delivery was fast, and I'm a happy camper (or should I say skier).

Lasted all last ski season and dont expect that to change this year. Will find out when I brush off the cobwebs on my Thule and reinstall it on my ski bomber.
