Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made bow for boat covers. Now this helps to keep tension on your boat cover, so it's not flapping in the wind and causing it to tear or rip prematurely. So it helps your cover to stay in place, it keeps it taut.It's going to be made of a fiberglass material. So it's going to be flexible, yet strong. So, it should last for a long time.
One note that I would make though, is that since this is fiberglass, you don't want to run your hand across it, because it can give you some splinters. I found that out pretty much the first minute I picked it up. I went like that and then go will splinter in my finger. So you might want to have gloves whenever you put this in place, or just be more cautious than me. But at either end, you'll see that there are little rubber stoppers.
That's to help it stay in place inside the bow sockets, which are sold separately. Those are just two little sockets that are going to be a secure mounting point for the bow. You can find those here etrailer.com using part number 369935.As far as measurements, it's going to be 72 inches long, and that's from either end, either end. You can cut this to length if you don't need it to be quite that long, so you can modify it as needed. Those little rubber stops can move along the surface so you can get those adjusted to whatever height you need them to be, or whatever length you need them to be.
They are both about an inch and a half long by about an inch and a half wide. Our bow is about an inch and a quarter wide and about an eighth of an inch thick.It does come in that bright orange color, so it's a little easier to spot. And it is made in the USA. But that's going to do it for our look at the TaylorMade bow for boat covers.

Still in execellent condition
Ordered 4 supports and was missing 2 of the rubber grippers for the ends. I received an email from seller on August 30 and replied to them about the missing grippers. Here it is a month later and I haven't heard a thing back.

The parts that were delivered were exactly what I expected, they fit very well & seem to be made to last many years. With one exception, the bushings with the 1/2" bore fit loose within the eye of the leaf spring. The pricing was very competitive. Delivery was prompt and on time.
