Today we're gonna take a quick look at the replacement TruXedo Shur-Bond Hook-and-Loop fastener strips. Now this is going to replace the two strips on your Tonneau cover that keep it tightened down. So maybe yours got bunched up or ripped off or something happened, but you can replace these with the same original features. We'll have our strong hook material there so we can get that secured down with the included screws. We'll get four screws in total. It's going to replace your driver side and passenger side pieces so that you can attach them to your truck rails, and you can mate them together with that loop material on your Tonneau cover itself.
Now these are going to measure 80 inches long by one inch wide. And again, we're gonna have our two strips and our four screws to get those all secured in place and get you back out on the road with your Tonneau cover working as it should.And that's gonna do it for our look at the replacement TruXedo Shur-Bond Hook-and-Loop fastener strips.

the tx1117876 was not the right fit for my truck. now I'm have to send them back!
I left my tonneau rolled up all summer and the Velcro disintegrated. This was a lot cheaper than a whole new tonneau. Pretty easy to install.
Ordering from etrailer was easy. The product did take some time to arrive due to the time of year and CoVID. The Strips arrived and within 20 minutes I had the replacement strips in place.

Velcro was a perfect fit! Super duty stuff to, never seen Velcro like this before. Easy install , just two screws per side and done. installed it on a Viogi tanneau cover not a truxedo and still was a perfect fit.

Still works like new, great product
I ordered these because it was the right width. That being said it was a little difficult to install. On the flip side it appears to work fairly well. My tonneau cover is a north mountain but couldn’t find replacement for it. So I ordered these to try. And like I said once installed I think they will be fine. Time will tell. No complaints

The velcro on my pickup bed cover was getting so bad the cover was always separating. These replacement “hook” strips are easy to install. Done in less than 10 minutes. The cover is now well secured. Appear to be very good replacement for original.

replacement strips are still holding tight.
Product was a direct replacement for the Velcro strips on my TruXedo tonneau cover. It was easy to install, and had clear directions. I can now use my cover again as it had started to blow up on the sides while driving in the wind. I have tested it and this solved the problem.

Still working great after a year of use.
The replacement velcro for the tonneau cover was exactly what I needed. The fit and function are perfect. The tonneau is no longer being inflated as I go down the highway.

Its working great! It gave my cover a new lease on life.
Customer service was very good. Tracking was very good. Product did not fit at all. Did not come with the rigid backing. Had to grind the old loop and hook off and go to the store and buy gorilla double face tape to install new Velcro. Not sure if that will hold.

I reached out to Truxedo and these fasteners are meant to be used with the Truxport short bed covers. They also let me know that some older covers did have adhesive Velcro that are no longer have that available. With your truck being a 1993 CK series truck this might be what happened.
Carol, the j hook replacement you sent is 1” wide and needs to be at least 1 1/4” wide to slide in the rail. Can I return this and get correct part please? The tailgate shock works perfectly!! Thank you

etrailer got my hook and bond strips out the same day I ordered them (which was Christmas Eve). And although my order took longer than expected to arrive - not by fault of etrailer- it was of perfect quality and fit. It took me longer to find the necessary tools for the job (which wasn’t much), than it did to install the hook Velcro to my bed cover on my 2012 Ford F-150. The soft cover did not attach on the sides when I bought it 4 years ago and my thinking was to keep this cover on my truck was worthless. The part I ordered from you revitalized my soft roll up bed cover. It hooks down with great force. Every top I see flapping in the wind going down the highway should take note! etrailer made my day!
I’ve been putting up w the truxport cover flopping in the breeze for three years. The replacement strip works great!! Installed in 10 min. Worth every penny!!

Early last year, I purchased the TX1117876 Velcro Fastener Strips for the side rails of the Truxedo tonneau cover on my 2010 Toyota Tundra. It's been a year now since they were (easily) installed and they are still holding up as good as new. Very satisfied with the quality of this product.
I just installed these on my 2010 Ford F250 Crew Cab with 6 1/2 bed. It literally took all of about 10 minutes to install both. Remove 2 screws on each side from the old ones, remove (slide out) old strips, install (slide in) new strips and new screws provided. Had about an inch of overlap left on each side to trim off with a razor blade. I unrolled the cover and it bites to the new velcro (which is better quality than the original) like it's brand new. Tight as can be! I have an older model Truxedo tonneau cover, so be sure to measure the length and width of the old velcro strip before ordering as there are different options of replacement strips available. If your cover portion is still in good shape, this is a great cost worthy investment before buying a new tonneau cover. Thanks etrailer.com!
