Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline. And today, we're taking a look at the replacement shim, knob, and bolt for your Swagman XTC series bike rack. We have a bunch of replacement parts here at etrailer. And this is gonna be the replacement shim, knob, and bolt for your wheel cradles. It does not include your wheel cradle.

So, if this is the part that's broken, you can find that as a separate replacement part. This is just gonna be for the knob. And in this video, I'll show you how to replace it. The shims fit underneath your wheel cradle. So, there's a little groove or track there and you have to slide them through, and then it snaps into place.

So, there's two of those shims. And then you have a carriage bolt. So, that's going to fit into the square side. So, there's gonna be a round side and a square side. Get that carriage bolt and fit that right through.

And now, you're ready to put this on your bike rack. So once you've slid through on your bike rack, just slide it to where you want your wheelbase to be. Go ahead and get that replacement knob, thread that onto that bolt. Make sure to press from below since it is a carriage bolt until it is secure on the bike rack. So, this is gonna work for your Swagman XTC series as well as your Swagman E-Spec bike rack.

Those have in common the tray size or I guess the shank of the cradle size of an inch and an eighth of an inch square. So, if your bike rack has that measurement, this will probably work with that.
