Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com I would be taking a quick look at the replacement wheel cradle for your Hollywood racks bike rack. So this is going to be that wheel holder that keeps your bike tires in place on your Hollywood racks bike rack. And this is the right hand side. If you're looking at the rear most cradle, it should be on your right-hand side. There is a diagram on the page here, etrailer.com to make that a little bit more clear what I mean, but as this is coming out towards you, it would be on the right-hand side. Does have all the same features as our original wheel cradle should be an easy way to keep that bike rack rolling.
If something happened to your original cradle that maybe got dented or damaged or broken, and you just need this one cradle to keep the rest of the bike rack going.So let's take a little closer, look at it and talk about some of those features. So we'll have our strap here to help hold down that wheel cinches down into that little cookie lever, hold it nice and tight. Then we'll have our rubber piece to go over the inside of our wheel. Help protect that, and also give a little bit more grip to it as well. One little tip I'll give you, whenever you first get this out of the packaging, this will probably be turned the wrong way, and it'll be actually kind of sticking straight out.
If you grab a 10 millimeter socket for this nut here, you can loosen that up a little bit. It'll make it a lot easier to get this strap where you want it to be. And then you can just tighten that back down as you want to. It just allows that bolt to move a little bit more freely so you can adjust that strap.On the backside, we'll have our hand knob so we can tighten this onto the bike rack arms and get that slid out where we need it to be, to accommodate for our wheelbase. Nice sturdy construction, so it should hold up our wheels really nicely this works for HR 1000, HR 1400 and also HR 1450.
The inside channel for that wheel is about three inches. So it'll work with a three inch tire. That pretty much does it for our look at the replacement wheel holder for your Yakima racks, sport rider, bike rack. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right wheel cradle for you. We do have other replacement parts.

I bought this as a replacement cradle for a FLATBED two bicycle carrier. It worked. The FLATBED bar (that the cradle attaches to) is a square bar 1" a side. I did not have any success with FLATBED trying to get a replacement. This cradle had specifications that seemed compatible, and it does work well. I was relieved to find a replacement, though it seems the carrier I have is available for under $XXX at [online] and other retailers. The carrier is good and cheap, but without frills.

I came across this web store, while searching for a trailer hitch for our new 2015 Odyssey. I wanted to install a bicycle hitch rack for moving 3-4 bikes, and didn't want a roof rack -- I figured that a.) the roof rack would be too tall to access easily on a minivan and b.) I would forget that I had bikes up there, and run the bikes into my garage door. I was impressed by the level of information and the range of products available at this website.
The product was easy to install and the installation videos provided great guidance on what to expect. Like other reviews mentioned, the product uses 19mm hex bolts as opposed to the 18 mm bolts that the instructions claim. The product itself fit the pre-drilled installation holes in the frame, without any tweaking or additional work needed. Thank you for a great product!

Purchased this replacement wheel holder for my Nashbar brand Shadow rack. It was a perfect fit and replacement, as well as a step up in quality, from the original wheel holder that it replaced. Of note for some is that this wheel holder fits plus size tires very well, my 27.5"+ by 3" mountain bike tires fit in this holder no problem, yet it also works great with my road bike tires. I have had this on my bike rack for one year, it is well made and holding up to the elements.

I'm writing a review based on my customer service experience. The part that was delivered was shipped as a Fat Bike Wheel Holder. I emailed etrailer customer service, on a Sunday and received an immediate response stating the correct (standard size wheel holder) part would be shipped and an apology for the oversight. The correct part was received within 2-days. This company does customer service better than anyone! I no longer need to shop for my trailer and towing components...etrailer will now be my only source. Thank you etrailer!
