Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule vehicle mounting bracket kit. These brackets will permanently install on your vehicle and provide a secure mounting point for the support legs of your Thule hideaway awning. These will mount right there on the side of your RV or whatever vehicle you'll using that awning on and it will allow you to simply insert each foot into a bracket, and have that nice secure mounting point for those legs. The mounting hardware to get these installed is included. The durable black plastic construction of the brackets themselves and the stainless steel hardware isn't going to rust on your vehicle.

After 1 year of use I have discovered that service parts are not available for this awning in the USA. I broke a support leg and have been told by Thule USA to buy a complete awning if I need spare parts. This is definitely not acceptable and unexpected. Buyer beware this awning is not fully supported by Thule USA.
It fits the supports very well. I used backer pads with 3M high bond tape instead of drilling and riveting, very secure after a year of use.

Kit has pop rivets and screws for mounting options. The two mounts are plastic looks sturdy enough only issue I have the price almost $40 bucks for $5 bucks worth of plastic
Sure stabilized the awning.
I bought a new 2022 Thor sequence A van this year. It got sideswiped. so far etrailer is the only place I've been able to find parts for the van. I really wish they had rear view mirrors for it.
Mounting brackets super easy to install on side of van
Wasn’t needed because the awning came with these but that wasn’t clear from description.
Etrailer was the only place I could find these Thule bottom mounts for the legs.
Worked out great, easy to install, and cane with all necessary hardware.
They also have more products I will purchase in the future.

Used this on my 2018 RPOD 179 with Thule awning.
Fit the legs perfectly and came with the hardware needed to install the brackets. The screws are 1" stainless steel and worked for my application.
No problems experienced and the product was as described.
These little brackets work perfectly! I mounted them on the side of my sprinter van and the legs of my awning fit right in there.
