Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Optronics license plate bracket. This license plate bracket provides a great option when it comes to mounting your license plate on your trailer. It can also be used to easily relocate a license plate if your license plate is obstructed for any reason.It is designed to work in conjunction with a license plate light, so that's the license plate area right here. That's designed for a license plate light which would illuminate the license plate directly below it.This is compatible with LP31CB and LPL31CB license plate lights which are available at etrailer.com and sold separately.The bracket itself is made from a durable plastic construction, and you will notice that if I lay it flat here on the table, not all of the bracket makes contact with the table, so it does have a slight angled design to it, which you can see there as well.Now the upper rectangular portion, I'm talking about this portion up here, measures 2-5/8 of an inch wide, by about 3-1/8" tall. The lower portion center on center, the distance between the license plate mount holes, 6-1/2". Overall width, is an 8-1/4".The four mount holes here at the top, these are separated on center across from one another, side to side, by 2-1/16", and then up and down, they're separated on center by 9/16".That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics license plate bracket..

After one year on my utility trailer this plate bracket holding up well.Not broken yet.Strong enough to hold the plate in place at road speeds,and flexible enoughto not break when bumped.Definitely reccomend good value for the $$$.

It seemed a little silly when I got this review request. Then I realized, A) these folks want to make sure their items are performing and B) this seemingly meaningless piece of plastic took me over a week to find online.
So...is this the best little piece of plastic for mounting your tag to your trailer? Absolutely! It fits perfectly and simply bolts in place. Easy peasy! It looks clean and It has been bent over cross ties and pressed against curbs and has made it through in one piece (yeah, shocked me too). Another pro is if I do find something that destroys it, the $2 sticker won't lead to me taking candy from children in my rage.
Would I buy again? 100%
Good value for the money
I recently purchased a dump trailer and noticed that the license plate was installed about 4 feet under the trailer, which made it not viewable. I found etrailer with many products which would allow me to reposition my license plate closer to the rear of the trailer. I contacted etrailer and spoke with their representative, Jennifer, and she was so helpful. She discussed options which I may consider, because I had to find a holder which would allowed a light to be installed on it. With all the ordering I have done online, I have never spoke to anyone who was as helpful with available products as Jennifer. I bought several license plate holders and this one is perfect. It allows me to mount a light and hang it lower on my trailer to expose my plate. Again, Jennifer was a special delight to talk to and she helped me find the perfect product to solve my situation, thank you Jennifer!
I like shopping at etrailer for the vast variety of parts offered. I looked on another website first but they just didn't have the everything I needed in one place. etrailer did! Transaction was easy, shipping was fast, parts work as advertised, and prices are fair. What more can you ask for!!
This particular part was an exact fit on my trailer. It's pretty flexible too so when my kids soccer ball hits it it will just bend instead of snap off like my old one did.
Good price for replacement license plate holder for trailer. Note it is stiff plastic and not meant for bending. Worked well for me since I needed to have plate bend back flat for when tilting down trailer. So, I cut in to two pieces and mounted a small piano hinge to connect the two and it works great.
great product to use as I did not want to order a new tail light for my RV(it had the lic plate bracket attached to the taillight). The original one had become brittle with age and had broken. Would have preferred it to be offered in white - but it works fine. Bracket was exactly as pictured

This part is much better than the identically shaped one that came with my trailer, which didn't last the first year. I expect this one will last the life of the trailer at an absolutely great price! I'll definitely look here the next time I need a trailer part.
