These wing nuts are going to hold your M8 mounting bolts in place on your Malone water sport carriers. These are going to be a direct replacement for the T-style wing nuts on the Malone water sport carriers part numbers that you see on the screen there. The wing nuts do NOT fit the Malone bolts.
They are the right size but they will not grab the threads.

Jenny, I have the Malone Sea Wings. Bolt is a BW 8.8 I did finally get the wing nut to work, but it definitely not the quality of the original one. Thank you for responding and contacting me.
I had lost one for my kayak rack and was pleased to be able to replace it. Reasonable cost and fast delivery.

Great product! However, I chose yours over others bc of the shipping as it was scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday and didn’t arrive until Saturday. Not convenient for a kayaking trip, I ended up having to buy others somewhere else to have them on-time. Disappointing.
