Troubleshooting Lippert Stabilizer Jack LC369774 That Went Halfway Down And Stopped

Question:

Both my jacks, stabilizing jacks went halfway down and then stopped. I pressed the switch, and I’m not getting any motor sound, or any other jacks to go up or down. The batteries are charged. I even have it on a trickle charge. I’m not sure if there’s a fuse problem which I’ve unable to figure out, which one belongs to the jacks.

Hey Edward, so the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC369774 does have a 6-amp breaker which is located in line between the switch and the motor. The breaker should auto-reset if tripped though, so I do not suspect this is the cause. It is replaceable with part # LC134181. There is also a 20-amp fuse between the battery and the switch as you can see in the diagram below. You will definitely want to check and replace this fuse if needed.

If it went down halfway then just stopped, this could point to something being wrong with the switch or switch wiring. The batteries not being charged is also a potential cause, but since you are sure they are full we can cross that off the list. My suggestion is to inspect the switch wiring and all connections for any damage or potentially a short. If you need a new switch, you can use the Replacement Electric Jack Waterproof Switch # LC387874. You can always raise or lower the stabilizer manually for the time being.
