Troubleshooting Power Jacks that Stopped Working After Disconnecting Trailer From Tow Vehicle
Question:
I bought a new Fun Finder that has a power tongue jack and power stabilizer jacks. In the process of unhooking my camper. All power to all jacks quit working. Checked the 30amp fuse changed it out. Not sure I even get power to the fuse.

First thing you'll want to do is verify that power is making it to the jack with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. You'll want to use this to test for voltage on the wires running to the jacks. If none, then that is where you'll need to look to find the issue. If there is power there then it's most likely the ground circuit for the jacks. Jacks commonly ground through mounting hardware so that's a good place to start.
You should also try hooking back up to the tow vehicle to see if that allows the jack motors to work again as that will indicate whether it is a ground situation as well since trailers can ground through their frame to the coupler and then to the hitch of the vehicle.
