Replacement 14 x 14 Trailer Roof Vents and Installation Kit
Question:
Hello, Im very interested in this product. I have to replace the roof on my 1995 Wilderness Fifth Wheel trailer. I need two of these vent assemblies. I see that the description for this vent is 14-1/4 X 14-1/4 inches square. The squares in my roof are exactly 14 inches. I need to know if the description is correct. If so, these will not fit in my current roof. Thanks for the time!

Standard square RV roof vents usually measure 14 x 14-inches and typically the roof opening measures very slightly larger than this, about 14-1/4 x 14-1/4. The Ventline vent # V2092SP-28 that you referenced is this 14 x 14-inch size. If your existing roof openings measure 14 x 14 then this vent or any of the similar units we offer will fit well.
This particular vent includes a garnish (the interior plastic trim piece that covers the gap between the vent and the roof) which will work with roof thickness from 1-7/8-inches to 3-inches. The garnish can easily be trimmed to fit a thinner roof or you can order a deeper garnish separately using the linked page that shows all such items.
For an installation kit that will allow secure leak-free mounting of the new vents use part # 344270KITW (white) or part # 344270KITB (beige).
