Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Kodiak 11-inch Dacromet slip-on, over-the-hub rotor for 9,000 pound and 10,000 pound AL-KO and Rockwell axles. Now, this is a slip-on over-the-hub rotor. Makes it very easy to convert your idler axle to a disc brake axle. This will basically fit over any standard idler hub and is held in place by your wheel and wheel bolts. So basically, there's no need to have to replace your entire hub and rotor assembly if only the hub or the rotor becomes damaged.

Now, this is a nice cast iron construction, ensures a favorable friction coefficient for necessary stopping power. If you notice, it does have the vented design on it that'll effectively dissipate the heat, prevent any heat-related damage. And this one, this rotor does have a Dacromet coating on it which will provide superior corrosion resistance for saltwater or freshwater use. Has a 300 to 400-hour salt spray rating. Now, this will increase the distance from hub face to hub face by approximately a 1/2 inch.

Again, this is designed to fit axle capacity 9,000 pound and 10,000 pound AL-KO and Rockwell axles. The wheel size that'll work on this is 15 inches and larger. Now, the outer diameter measured from this end to this end, if we put our ruler on it and go straight across here is 11-3/8 inches. Now, the bolt pattern right here, if we measure this center to center, 6 1/2 inches, so it's an eight-lug 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern, and the bolt hole diameter is 1/2 inch.
