Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the JR Products Universal Door Bumper. This is going to be just a black rubber bumper to help protect your door and your wall from any kind of scuffs or scrapes or indentations from that wall or that door coming a little bit too close to the wall and banging into it. So it's just going to help us keep everything safe and protected. It's going to include the mounting screw.
So it's pretty simple. You just push that through the top there, and then you might have to get a long screwdriver to get that down in place. And I seem to have gotten mine stuck in here, but basically that's just going to be all there is to it to get it actually installed. So the screw goes all the way down to the bottom, comes out, and then gets you in place there.As far as the overall size of this, it's about two and a quarter inch long. At the base, it's about an inch in diameter.
At the tip, it's about three quarters of an inch in diameter. It does come in black. Lifetime warranty from JR Products. In my case, however, I had to source a longer and thicker screw for it to tighten down (my trailer is 12 years old) - so keep that in mind. This one seems to have a metal insert inside to ensure that you don't pull the screw though when tightening down, so that's a plus.
