What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be checking out this doorstop here from JR Products. This is going to go between your door and your screen door and just kind of act as a stopper that way it doesn't slam into each other and cause any damage. Let's check it out. So right here, I'm going to show you what it's made for. Like I said, it's going to keep that screen door from slamming into the regular door.

You see, there's still quite a bit of a gap. That's going to make sure that they don't make contact or scratch it up or damage either one of these and the door also closes just the same. This is the old one from before. This is going to be a half inch here and you see this one is going to be a full inch. So it's going to just add more protection and space in between your two doors.

Also, they're made out of industrial rubber. So it's going to hold up over time. This one, you can see is cracked. I think it's just because it's a smaller one. This one's going to last you a lot longer.

Also comes with the hardware you need to install it. So even if you have that old screw you're going to use, it comes with new hardware. That's going to fit the new inch thickness of this stop. Now it's really easy to replace, check out how we did it. First thing we're going to do is remove the old one and just use a Phillips head screwdriver and start backing that out.

As I removed this one, you can kind of see it's got some cracks in it. It seen better days for sure, so that's why we're replacing it. The new one's going to be a little bit bigger, but also you still shut the door just fine, it's not going to cause any issues. Actually gives a better gap for the screen door itself too. So everybody push the screw through there and you can push it with the screwdriver, push it fully through the stop. And once you get that into place right there, I'll push it. Then come back, and tighten that screw down. I'm using the new hardware that comes with this one. If your old hardware works and you wanna save it, that's fine too. Doesn't have to be insanely tight or anything. That's about good right there, it doesn't move. There's no movement and it's installed. Now let's put it to the test. Go ahead and close our screen door and see, it goes right up against there. There's a nice gap in there for room, so it's not even gonna come close or slam on that very hard. You actually see a difference, if you look up at the old one up at the top, which we're going to replace that one too. That one still leaves a little bit of a room, that why I like the one on the bottom more, there's definitely more of a stop, and adds that nice spacing. Overall, I think it's going to be a good addition to your door. Definitely like the stop. And it looks way nicer than the old one, you call that wear and tear. I think this one being bigger, it's going to last longer and not going to have all those cracks and issues. Well that about does it. Thanks for hanging out, hope this helped..
