Hello, neighbor, Steve here with etrailer.com. Thank you so much for joining me today while we take a look at this Replacement 18th Tooth Gear for your Lippert RV Slide Out. Now, in case you're not aware of what this would fit into, I put a picture up there in the middle of the screen there, so that gear there in the middle, this is what that gear is going into. Now a little close up here. Now this replaces a standard 18 tooth gear for your Lippert component slide outs. And as it says on the screen there, it will work with the LC123345 or the LC122837, if it's manufactured before October of 2013.
You do get one gear in this kit. It's just a gear replacement gear, again, 18 teeth. Very, very, very well made, high quality metal. You can kind of see the gear grooves and everything there. Not much to say about other than, you know, it's a replacement gear and like I said, it fits those components that I put on the screen a minute ago.

- What Would Cause Slide Out Gears to Only Make Contact with Half of the GearWhat it sounds like is happening, is the outer tubes, are bent, or are bowing enough to where there is enough play for the inner tube to move, and skip gears. That would cause gears to strip, and pull teeth. If you can, please send me pictures of the outer tubes on each side so I can take a look, and let you know more definitively.
