Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Hott Rod 10-Gallon Universal Probe. Now, this unit replaces the heating element in the Hott Rod Conversion Kit for 10-Gallon water heaters. It is used to electrically heat water in your RV. Replacement is pretty easy. You need to remove the old probe and install the new one the same way. You will want to apply some Teflon tape to the threads right here before installing the new probe.
Use a wrench, or a socket, to tightening the probe once installed.Right here is where the power cord connects directly to the 2-pin connector. Now, the probe length, that's from the bottom of the threads to the end of the probe, that measures 8 and 15/16 of an inch long, and that probe has a diameter of 3/8 of an inch. Features nice durable construction with protective finishing so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Hott Rod 10-Gallon Universal Probe.

This is the first time we bought anything from etrailer and we were very impressed!
Our Hott Rod element stopped heating our water, we thought it was a bad element which we ordered (at a good price) from etrailer, only to find that in fact it was the cord which had burnt out.
This is not normally sold as part of the element, however Lori at etrailer promised to contact the manufacturer to see if she could get one.
Not only did she get back to me as promised, she advised that the manufacturer would be sending me a new cord FREE OF CHARGE.
So, we were extremely happy and pleased with our first order from etrailer and their friendly and helpful staff!

Simple product which does exactly what it is designed to do. Replacing the element couldn't be easier.

Wow, unbelievably its a year already since I installed the Diamond Water Heater element. It has performed flawlessly. If I had not been reminded, I would not even have remembered how well it has worked!
