Hi everyone. Aiden here at the eTrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this replacement two ball mount for your Gen Y ball mounts with stacked receiver tubes. Now this one is going to be for the two and a half inch stacked receiver tube so make sure you're getting the right one for the right ball mount. But this is going to be a direct replacement for the one that came with your ball mount in case it got lost or damaged. Let's check it out.

Now everything here is gonna be pretty much the exact same. You've got the welded on stopper to help us align the pinhole on the side. On the top, we've got our two and five sixteens inch ball. That's going to give us the 21,000 pound gross trailer weight rating with a 2,400 pound tongue weight. Flipping this around we've got the two inch ball that's going to give us the 16,000 pound gross trailer weight rating with the 1500 pound tongue weight.

Now keep in mind these ratings are for the balls and you might find that with the actual ball mount itself that it has a slightly different weight rating particularly with the tongue weights. So do go by the lowest rated component whenever you're picking this up. With the pinhole and the ball, it's a five inch gap between them center to center and then sliding it in, it's important to point out that it does not come included with a new pin and clip so if those we're also lost or damaged you'll need to pick those up separately or just use the existing ones that came with your kit if you've still got 'em. And that's really all there is to it. It's a very simple part to replace.

Thanks to that stacked receiver design you just pop the old one out and pop the new one in.
