This adjustable ball mount has a maximum capacity of 22,000 lbs, making it ideal for heavy-duty towing. The solid steel construction is strong enough to handle large trailers and heavy cargo, and the matte powder coat finish will protect the ball mount from rust and corrosion, even after repeated use. Because of its sturdy steel construction, this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount can handle loads up to 22,000 lbs, making it perfect for heavy-duty towing jobs.
The adjustable channel is made of 5/16" thick, laser-cut steel plates. These steel plates can handle high capacities without bending. And because of the laser cutting, the channel plates have consistently sized pin holes, so you can easily remove or reposition the hitch ball platform.
A 1/2" thick steel gusset is welded between the shank and the channel, bracing the mount and keeping the channel from bending, even at the maximum drop or rise.
The solid steel shank is CNC -chamfered, making it easy to slide the shank into and out of your hitch receiver. And with no sharp edges on the shank, the powder coating is less likely to chip and peel.
Each adjustable mount includes a 2-ball platform, which fits in the adjustable channel. The 2 hitch balls are welded onto the solid steel platform for maximum strength and stability.
Finally, the pins and clips included with the ball mount are made of heat-treated steel to withstand the heavy weight from your load. The nickel undercoat with zinc topcoat provides corrosion resistance and ensures the strength of the pin.
To set up this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount, insert the 2" x 2" shank into your hitch's receiver. Slide the 2-ball platform into the adjustable channel, then use the included pins and clips to secure the platform at the height you need. If you need to switch hitch balls, just remove the pins and clips, flip the ball platform over, and reinsert the pins and clips to secure the balls in place. It's that easy.
Because of this mount's significant drop, it's recommended that you install a stabilizer kit (358stabilizerbars - sold separately) to prevent any wobbling and to remove strain from your hitch receiver.
This BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount is compatible with a wide variety of accessories (sold separately). Instead of using the included ball to tow, you can install a weight distribution shank (358WEIGHTDIST) in the channel of the mount to attach your weight distribution system. Add a clevis (358CLEVIS) or shackle attachment (358EDSA) for off-road or recovery operations. Or simply add a hitch step (358STEP) to easily access your truck bed.

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we going to take a look at the bulletproof hitches, heavy duty, adjustable, two ball mount for a two inch hitch with a drop and rise as a 22,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now this two ball mount will slide into a two inch hitch receiver. Let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. Up front you can see the two hitch balls.
Those are providing the connection points for your trailer coupler. And if you notice there are two different size hitch balls, you can see the large one is a two and five 16 diameter and the smaller one is a two inch diameter. So this will let you tow trailers with different coupler sizes. And to switch the ball, all you do is simply remove the two pins and the clips, flip the ball platform to the size you need, and then reinsert the pins and the clips. It's pretty easy to do, just to show you we're gonna go ahead and pull out the clips and then we'll pull out the pins.
That actually depends on one, to mention, it comes with two of these five, eight inch diameter, corrosion resistant hardened steel pins, diesel feature and nickel under coat, and then a zinc plated top coat for best corrosion resistance. Take out our second one, you can see the ball platform comes from the release from the channel. So if we just flip it over to the two inch size, and again, when you put this in you could put it at whatever high you need. I'm just gonna put it back to where it was. We'll go ahead and put a pin through there.
And then we'll put a pin through the top. And then again, we'll take our clips. We wanna make sure to put your clips in there to make sure the pins are secured. And we'll do the other one. And then just like that, you can use the two inch ball.
So very quick and easy to switch to whatever ball size you need. Now, the adjustable design on this provides a nice drop or rise, allows you to tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. This does work well for contractors where they can install this on one truck and use that truck. One truck for different size trailers. Now I'm showing it in the drop position. So when you install it in this drop position, if you put this ball platform in the lowest position, it'll go, it'll get you a maximum drop of about 11 and a quarter inches. If you flip this over in your hitch to the rise position and then put the ball platform in the highest position, it'll get you a maximum rise about 11 and a half inches. Now it does give you six levels of adjustment. The dimension between each adjustment hole is two inches and basically you can move this ball platform lower or raise it higher to match your application. This is a nice heavy duty steel construction. It is precision CNC mill and drill. So it gives you less rattle, because of the close tolerances. The channel right here is a five 16 thick channel frame. It's strong and durable. If you notice that the bottom has a half inch thick welded gusset plate, which will brace the shank and the channel. And the hitch balls themselves are welded to the ball platform for extra sturdiness. So because of that solid shank, the gusset plate, the solid dual ball platform, it is built for heavy duty towing. And the steel gusset, you can see here, it is welded between the shank and the channel, bracing the mount, keeping the channel from bending even at maximum drop or rise. Total weight on this is about 45 pounds. Now, one thing I do wanna mention it could come into play on your application. This gusset does go back a little bit. So you wanna make sure you have clearance when this goes into your hitch. So I've measured from the gusset right up here and then the first hitch pinholes gonna be about three and a half inches from that gusset to the second hitch pinholes, about five inches. Now this ball mount does have many different dimensions to it. So what I do recommend for you to do is go to the product page of this part number, and it'll have all the, a picture of this with all the dimensions on it. And then you can verify any dimension that might be needed for your application. This part is made in the USA with USA steel and the product is used by the US military. So it does give you a peace of mind that the product uses quality materials. Also, what's nice, this does use a powder coated, textured, heavy duty black finish, and that heavy duty finish keeps the ball mount looking like new instead of all worn and rusty after a short time. Now, when you do install this into your hitch receiver, you can see the hitch pin holes we talked about. It does require hitch pin and clip are a hitch lock for securing it to the hitch receiver. Those items are not included. You would have to supply those or we do sell those separately on a website. Again, this fits two inch by two inch trailers receivers. And this one with the drop is ideal for vehicles with 25 inch to 27 inch clearance from the ground to the bottom of your receiver too, gross towing weight capacity is gonna depend on the ball size you use. So if you use the smaller two inch diameter ball, it's 12,000 pounds. If you flip it over and use the larger two and five 16 stamina ball, it's 22,000 pounds. Towing weight capacity is 3000 pounds. And one last thing I do wanna mention, this comes with the dual ball mount, but there are a variety of channel mount attachments that are available for this ball mount, to allow you to also use this as a pintle hitch, shackle hitch, even a hitch step. This worked perfectly. The name Bulletproof fits well - I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and engineering.

The hitch appears very well built. I'm pulling a 12,000 pound trailer and wanted a hitch with a much greater rating than the trailer weight. This hitch does that in spades.

Love the hitch. It is stout and that is why I purchased it in the first place. I have zero worries about damaging the hitch even though Im using it as a 10 inch rise thus there is a lot of strain on it. Im pulling a 32 foot bumper pull trailer over very rough roads.
This has to be the heaviest of the heavy duty. The added gusset really helps and when used with the Bulletproof stabilizer bars this makes a great heavy duty combination..
One amazing hitch, quality of the hitch is one of perfection. It truly lives up to its name.

If you are having second thoughts on purchasing this magnificent hitch abandon those thoughts and buy it. This is a quality built hitch that stands up to its’ name. You get what you pay for and this hitch will last forever.

Awesome product and great price. This Bulletproof hitch is definitely well built. I see no problems ahead with this hitch.
I bought this hitch just under one year. To date, the hitch has performed fine. HOWEVER, the cheap powder coating has turned the entire hitch into a an eyesore. Its just rusting like mad, and the powder coat is now flaking in large chunks. Looks like crap on the back of the truck. I don't even live in an area where salt accumulates or they use it on the roadway.
Sent me the wrong hitch. Ordered the 6” drop, received the 4” drop. Hitch itself is ok, powder coating wore off ball and where it goes into receiver on first use.
Fast delivery, well packed, and the hitch is bad a**, heavy duty quality and very versatile. If your looking for an adjustable hitch this is what you want!!!

Extremely noisy. Powder coat peeled almost immediately and the tolerances on the pins makes this rattle horribly. I finally got so sick of the noise I cut foam to put between the ball mount and receiver. This hitch has not seen much use and only for light duty (under 10k lbs). I won't buy another one. All of the other hitches we have are Andersen Rapid Hitch. I tried this after all the claims by BulletProof on how great they are. Very disappointed

I own several adjustable 2-1/2" hitches and like this one a lot. It isn't terribly heavy for being steel and is very easy to adjust. I like the pins versus the key-operated mechanism on my aluminum adjustable hitch. Works great with my Chevy 2500 and various trailers and boats from 5000 to 14000 lbs.

So far I am extremely happy with this hitch. It is very heavy duty. My towing capacity has changed and needed to upgrade to a heavy duty hitch. I have no doubts this is going to be Bulletproof!! It is very well built and a solid shank.
The hitch looks very well made. I recently made some changes to my 02 F250 and needed a drop hitch.I mostly pull a #10000 GTW equipment trailer but occasionally pull a #14000 GTW dump trailer and a utility trailer with a 2" ball. This hitch fits my needs perfectly.
Worst customer service ever. Took almost two months for them to deliver my purchased items to me. After a few weeks of phone calls asking where my stuff was they finally delivered my items, later than the 5-7 business days they promised as well. I will never buy anything from this website again.
