Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - Lift Spacers - F2368

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a 3" lift. Now these parts here will let you install your Ride-Rite Air Springs on a lifted vehicle using these lift spacers. Basically, these spacers will attach between the bottom of your lower bracket and the bottom of the spring on vehicles with a 3" lift. Now, Firestone does offer these spacers and a rise anywheres from two inches all the way up to six inches. This part here is for a 3" lift, and just to show you, put a ruler on that.

There you can see is your 3" measurement. How to install these, the distance on your vehicle between the upper and lower brackets must be between eight and a half and nine and a half inches. The spacer must be the same size as your lift kit rise, and this lift spacer needs to match the amount of lift added to the rear of your vehicle. This part will include these two lift spacers and all the hardware you can see here that's necessary for installation. The lift spacer fits the axle mounted air springs.

Now these spacers can be used with most Ride-Rite air spring kits. This part here will not fit Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286 but they will fit Ride-Rite model F2286 if it's manufactured after February 1st, 2006. But that should do it for the review on these lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a 3" lift.

The best air bags for your 2022 F-350 are the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F35FV. These have a 5,000 lb load leveling capacity, four layers of reinforced rubber, and a rolled crimp seal to keep the bags anchored securely. • Installation of Firestone 2605 on 2017 Ford F-250 with 3 Inch Lift Block at Axle Under Springs
Thanks for the photo. Based on your specific setup you won't need a spacer like the # F2368 because the bracket sits at the lip above the lift block. You will however need to get hardware long enough to span that extra lift block distance. Check out the 10 minute to 17 minute section of the attached video to assist with that bracket and see that hardware at the 13 minute mark. You will need to obtain that hardware locally.

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement and Towing Parts for a Lifted 2018 Ford F-150 and 10K Trailer
I'll start off by saying the best way to tow is without a lift kit or bigger tires on any pickup because the more height you add the easier it is for your vehicle to squat and the more difficult it can be to find the correct components for towing. With that being said, there are people out there who still tow safely with a lifted truck so it is definitely possible. If you decide to go ahead with the customization, it sounds like the weight you will be towing with your 2019 Ford F-150 will...

  • Is Spacer Needed When Installing Firestone Air Bags On 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 With X31 Package?
No, you shouldn't need spacers when installing Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Rear # F2609 on your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 with the X31 package. This is because the X31 package does not include a lift/level kit. If the dealer for some reason installed a lift/level kit after the truck arrived from the factory, then you will in fact need to measure and find out which spacer you need. Find the factory bump stop on the suspension and measure from the top bracket to the bottom bracket...

  • Lift Spacers for Firestone Suspension Enhancement on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500HD w/4 Inch Lift
I would go down to 3 inches and use spacer # F2368. The measurement should be with the bags deflated or at the minimum psi. When modifying the axle spacers on the lift kit, be sure to contact the lift kit manufacturer and/or the installer to determine if this is acceptable and if so, what would be the best way to do so.
