Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at eTrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at the Replacement Driver's Side Dexter Axle Adjusting Screw.This is how you make the adjustment on your brakes to get that pressure dialed in where you want it to be on your braking system. By turning that little dial you can see we're pushing the other piece out. It's going to push our feet on our brake assembly out as well, to give us more braking force. If we go the other way it's going to bring it in tighter, so it's going to lessen the braking force. That's where we're going to make our adjustment.As your brakes wear down you will want to adjust it out to bring those shoes a little bit closer to the edge so they can do their job in pushing against your hub to bring everything to a stop.Now this is going to replace the adjusting screw for several Dexter Nev-R-Adjust electric brakes, including the 10" Nev-R-Adjusting brakes and the 12" Nev-R-Adjusting brakes.

There's two pieces to this. The cover portion that goes over the end of the bolt. Then our adjustment nut that goes along our system here, has the angled teeth so as you're reaching through the back of that housing you can get a grip on those and make your adjustments.
Then we'll have our two forked ends to sit in our housing.It should get you out on the road without having too much trouble. One replacement part for your brakes so you don't have to replace the whole system if something had happened to your adjustment screw.You can always find multiple braking accessories and other replacement parts here at eTrailer.com. Part fits perfectly, too bad for the inexperienced RV tech at an RV service station who installed this part backwards. Thank God there was no accident. Easy fix.

The brake adjuster fit perfectly,trailer was not on the road much this year but the parts were easy to work on
