Many tow systems require some sort of hitch accessory to either raise or lower your tow bar so that it sits level. To determine if your setup needs an adapter, hook the tow bar up to your RV and towed car and measure to see how close to level it is. The "safe zone" for a motor-home-mounted tow bar ranges from 3 inches above level to 3 inches below. Car-mounted models must be absolutely level. This high-low adapter can provide you with the necessary drop or desired rise to achieve a level tow bar setup.

I originally measured my tow bar differential with an unloaded motorcoach - and was hitting the pavement more than I would hav liked. Reduced the adapter 2” and now it is lever when the coach is loaded. No asphalt dugouts!
Towing my dinghy is a dream with this adapter.
The Curt high low adapter was just what I need
This is a nicely-made hitch adapter. I'm using it in conjucntion with a Kuat Sherpa rack to get my bikes up a bit higher and further back behind our 2022 Nissan Rogue. With this adapter, the rear liftgate can be opened while the the rack is in the folded (up) position.
After one year, one of the components installed in my truck's rear tail light was fried making my tail lights not work (even when not being towed). I called etrailer and told them the situation. JT was very helpful in setting up an appointment and getting the part fixed (under warranty). Slight annoyance followed up with good customer service.
With today's vehicles built so low to the ground, my wheelchair carrier was constantly bumping the asphalt. This riser is great! It is strong, well made, sturdy enough to avoid those bumps in the road.
