How to Pick out a Disc Brake Kit for a Alum Karavan Trailer

I want to switch my trailer brakes over to disk with one of your kits. I have an Alum Karavan Trailer but not sure what kit to get. THere is a sticker on the trailer that says GVWR 5920lbs and GAWR 5920 lbs. Tires are ST185/80D. If you have any info or can recommend the right kit that would be great.

There are a few things we need to know before you can pick out a disc brake kit for your Karavan Trailer.

We have to determine what spindles you have on your trailer so we can replace you hub drums with hub rotors. To do that you will need to remove the hubs to get the bearings numbers off the bearings. Another route you can go is to measure the surface of the spindle where the bearings and seal ride. Check out the picture I attached.

Next we need to determine what your wheel's bolt pattern is. See the link I attached to see how this is done.
