How to Pick Out Leaf Springs for a 2011 Keystone Outback 277RL

Question:

I want to replace the 4-Leaf Springs on my 2011 Keystone Outback 277RL with the 5-Leaf Spring e34SR. When I measure my current springs they measure 26inch eye-to-eye. Is that because load the trailer puts on the springs? Does the trailer load spread out that measurement? e34SR is 25 1/4.

You will want to remove your current leaf springs before you measure them. Typically, over time the springs will slightly flatten out from use which causes the spring to slightly increase in length.

If your spring measures 26 inches removed from your trailer and your trailer has 6,000 lb axles the Leaf Spring part # e34SR would be the correct spring for your trailer.

I attached an FAQ article on double-eye leaf springs for you to check out as well.
