Do I Need to Drill a Hole in a Draw-Tite Hitch for More Room for a Hitch Pin?
Question:
I just purchased the Draw Tite 75761 hitch, by and large to use our bike mount. The mount fits a 2inch hole snugly, but has a 1/2 inch hole. Am I fine to just use a 1/2 pin or do I need to drill out the hole for the 5/8inch hole

I have a solution for you but you do not want to drill a larger pin hole on your X1's Draw-Tite Hitch item # 75761. This will void your hitches warranty and lead to premature rusting.
Instead you will want to use the etrailer Trailer Hitch Lock item # e98879. This pen is still a 1/2" diameter but it will go in better than a standard pin like item # F-4. Plus this is a locking hitch pin which will allow you to secure your bike rack and any other accessories.
If you don't like this option you can always spray some WD-40 on your current pin but this would need to be repeated over time and does get messy.
