Hanger Spacing for 3500 LB. Tandem Axle Trailer
Question:
I just ordered the e64SR springs and the AP233 hanger kit. I know to place the mid hanger at 60 the load lenght. From the center of the mid hanger, how far out, front and back, should I place the hangers?

Thank you for purchasing from etrailer! You did a great job selecting compatible parts. When using Leaf Springs # e64SR with the # AP233 Equalizer Kit and the # H248 Hanger Kit, there should be 29-1/2" between the front and center hangers and 29-1/2" between the center and rear hangers. This should achieve a 4-1/2" clearance between the center of the axle and the trailer frame if you have a 3500 lb axle. I've Provided a diagram that should be helpful. I've also provided a link to our trailer maintenance schedule that may come in handy.
