Im installing a Reese hitch in a 2003 Ford F 350 short bed boxwhat are the dimensions from the back of the cab to the center of the hitch on a short bed box

The center of the hitch will be approximately 36-1/8 inches from the front of the box.

For a installation kit for your 2003 Ford F350 short bed I would recommend the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # RP50082-58. The measurement I just gave you came from the installation instructions for this product. They are attached.

Custom install kits will install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling. I attached an install video for this product for you to check out also.
