Is my breakaway light supposed to be on when unit up and running Brk 2012

Yes, the "BK/AWAY ON" light will stay illuminated on the Blue Ox Patriot Braking System BRK2012 while in use. If there is an error with the breakaway system you should see a number "7" on the display but if not then all is good. The light simply indicates the system has power and is ready to use when needed.

That's a good question. We do have the Blue Ox Patriot part #BLU37TR. The #BLU37TR is there newest supplemental braking system offering from Blue Ox.
