Upgraded 26 Inch Leaf Springs For 3,500 lb Axle on Tracker Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a 2019 single axle 3500 lb boat trailer. There are currently single leaf springs on the trailer. Many Tracker trailer owners with single leaf springs seem to be getting broken springs. I am thinking of upgrading my springs before I have a problem. Which spring would you recommend? 3500 lb axle hanger bolts are 25.5 inch spring measures 26.25 with weight off 1.75 inch wide Thanks

Smart idea to get ahead of the problem, and there is a good upgrade for your Tracker boat trailer with a 3,500 lb axle. Since your current spring measures 26-1/4 inches from center of one spring eye to the center of your other spring eye, a 26 inch spring will be right, because leaf springs elongate and flatten slightly over time. So the best option is the following:

- 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles - 26" Long - Dacromet # e48SR

The # e48SR is for axles up to 4,000 lbs, so it'll be great for your 3,500 lb axle, and has four leaves compared to the single leaf your current spring has. It is 26 inches long from center of spring eye to center of spring eye.
