How To Select The Correct MORryde AllTrek Equalizer For a Tandem Axle Trailer

Question:

I was going through the measurement qualifier process fo the Morryde Alltrek 4000 equalizer... I have all good numbers to qualify except I have a 35inch wheelbase with a 59inch leaf spring outer measurement on my dual axle 5th wheel trailer.. Which Alltrek is supposed to work, the 33inch wheelbase model which call s for that 59inch leaf spring outer measurements? but is stated for a 33inch wheelbase setup

The best way to find the correct replacement for your equalizer is by measuring the distance from the front shackle hole to rear shackle hole on your current equalizer. The 33" AllTrek # MR89DR has the holes spaced 6-1/2" on center while the 35" AllTrek # MR29DR spaces the holes 8" on center. While the MORryde qualifier is very helpful I find that measuring is best since different trailer manufacturers do not always follow the same practices for welding on the spring hangers and setting the different components. While your current equalizer may not exactly match one of the measurements for the AllTrek units you will simply need to select the one which is closest.

I recommend also selecting from one of the wet bolt kits below depending on the size of your shackle straps and if you trailer has the correct track adjustable hangers.

MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" # MR46ZR
MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" # MR76ZR
MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers w Correct Track - 2-1/4" # MR58ZR
MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers w Correct Track - 3-1/8" # MR98ZR
