Wiring Needed For Adding Electric Trailer Brakes To a Utility Trailer
Question:
im putting together a kit so i can add electric brakes on a utility trailer. I have a 331-CBK30-EB 30amp circuit breaker in my cart but i also need a 40amp circuit breaker. do you offer the same kit for 40amp that you offer for the 30amp? Thank you

It sounds like the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 might be what you are needing for your Jeep. This kit includes the wiring for the 7-way and Brake Controller # RED52VR along with a 20, 30 and 40 amp circuit breakers. Otherwise you would just have to get a 40Amp Circuit Breaker # PK54240PL to use with the Kit # 331-CBK30-EB.
For the trailer you will need a Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector # H20046, Junction Box and Installation Kit # 3430001-JBK, Breakaway Kit # 3802346 and 12-Gauge Wire # 12-1-1.
