  • Can A 12V Charge Line Be Run From RV To Towed Vehicle Battery While Using 12V Outlet And Disconnect
Yes. A 12V charge line using # 10-1-1 wire and a circuit breaker like # PK54240PL will allow you to provide a maintenance charge to your battery while using the battery disconnect # RM-766 and supplemental 12V outlet.

  • Replacement 40 Amp Pollak Circuit Breaker
Thanks for the pictures of your relay. Since we can see that it's a 40 amp breaker the correct replacement would be the part # PK54240PL.

  • Can 12-Volt Circuit Breaker # PK54240PL Be Left Exposed to the Elements When Installed
I wouldn't recommend leaving any electrical connection, including the ones made on a circuit breaker like part # PK54240PL exposed directly to the weather. Exposure to water could cause the circuit to short out. A junction box like part # 38656 provides a excellent weatherproof place for electrical connections like joining a trailer connector such as # H20046 to the lighting and brake circuits of a trailer, but it would also work extremely well for protecting circuit breakers from the...

  • Wiring Needed For Adding Electric Trailer Brakes To a Utility Trailer
It sounds like the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 might be what you are needing for your Jeep. This kit includes the wiring for the 7-way and Brake Controller # RED52VR along with a 20, 30 and 40 amp circuit breakers. Otherwise you would just have to get a 40Amp Circuit Breaker # PK54240PL to use with the Kit # 331-CBK30-EB. For the trailer you will need a Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector # H20046, Junction Box and Installation Kit # 3430001-JBK, Breakaway Kit # 3802346 and 12-Gauge...

  • Do you Carry an Inline Fuse Holder with 8 Gauge Wire For a 40 Amp Circuit?
I recommend moving to a 40-amp Circuit Breaker # PK54240PL. If the circuit breaker draws to much power it will cycle off and on versus a inline fuse which will blow and have to be changed. The Inline Fuse # FLX30357K you found with a the 10 gauge wire is the largest diameter wire we carry on a fuse holder.

The Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C47CR will allow you to weld on a receiver to your 2005 Thomas school bus. This hitch has brackets which will give you a 9" drop from your frame. The hitch is designed to fit a frame width 18-44" wide. For the wiring you will want to start with the Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # C59496. This will connect to the tail lights on your bus and provide the lighting for your trailer. It will connect...

  • 30 Amp Fuse Keeps Blowing on LCI Stabilizer Jacks Between Campsites
If the jacks are working most of the time, but blowing the fuse between campsites, it is most likely a ground issue. This could be loose, but could also be just a bad connection somewhere. I suggest checking all your ground connections on both the trailer and vehicle, just to make sure. One thing you could also try, is unplugging the trailer when starting the vehicle. It could be that the starting amps are getting too high for that fuse and causing it to blow. This is fairly unlikely and...

  • How to Install a Brake Controller on a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500
The brake output wire (usually blue) should already be partly ran on your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. There is a connector (see photo) that is located on the driver side of the vehicle right behind the front wheel well. This connector should have a blue wire for the brake output which you can confirm with a circuit tester. You can then use a quick splice connector like part # SWC501915-1 and loose wire like part # 10-1-1 (per foot) to attach it to the 7-way. If this wire is not present then you...

  • 4-Way to 6-Way Wiring Adapter to Power Lights and Charge Battery of Camper
Sounds like you have a 4-way connector at the rear of your 1999 Ford F-150 and are looking for a way to install a 6-way so that you can power the camper you have that has a Pollak 6-way like the part # PK11604. For an adapter you would want the part # A10-6034VP. This will plug into the 4-way and will convert the taillight signal to a 6-way. To activate the power circuit for the camper battery you will need to run the black wire from this adapter to the positive post of the truck battery...
