Best Hitch Reciever for a 2020 Sienna AWD LE

Question:

Im trying to decide whether to go with the Draw Tite 76112 or the 75237. Were looking at pulling a hybrid trailer that is going to be really close to the 3500 lbs the Sienna is rated for. It might go a little over that once we get to the campground and fill the freshwater tank. The concern is that we potentially wont have enough ground clearance with the 75237, but if were a little over the 3500 lbs the 76112 wont be strong enough to handle the load. What would you folks suggest? Thank you

You are not going to want to exceed the capacity of either the hitch or your 2020 Toyota Sienna's so I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75237 and worrying about any protentional clearance issues if you encounter them. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Sienna's frame with included hardware. I have linked an installation video below.

If you do not have a wiring harness you will need a 7-way to control both your trailer's lights and brakes. You will want the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter - 7 Way Trailer Connector item # TK87FR. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Toyota's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. This kit also includes an adapter that is compatible with a Tekonsha brake controller. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
