Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement cutting edge half for your Western MVP V plow. Now this is going to replace one half of the cutting edge on the bottom of your Western MVP V plow style snowplow with an eight and a half foot blade. As you no doubt know, this mounts to the bottom of your blade to break apart ice and scrape away packed snow while you're clearing parking lots or driveways. This is comparable to the Western part number that you see there on your screen, 28407 and this is made here in the USA and is constructed of C-1090 carbon steel for premium strength and heavy duty impact resistance. The Brinell hardness number is from 250 to 300 and this has a black powder coat finish that's going to resist rust and corrosion. Let me go ahead and put a tape measure on here to go over some measurements with you.

So as you can see hopefully, the overall length is almost 50 inches. I think more precise, it's we'll call it at 49 and 15/16 inches long. And then the overall height, we are sitting right at six inches and this is half an inch thick. And as you can see we have one, two, three, four, five holes for mounting and these holes will accept half inch in diameter carriage bolts. I do wanna point out that those carriage bolts are not included so if you do not already have them you would have to pick that up separately.
