Comparison and Recommendation of Trailer Hitch for 2021 Ford Ranger
Question:
Hello, I was looking to purchase a hitch for a 2021 ford ranger. Was looking to buy a draw tite hitch. But, when I just went to go add it to my cart I can’t find it anymore. Thank you for your time and assistance.

I don't know what product page(s) you were looking on to compare pricing but, we currently have only 2 options available for the 2021 (2019-2022) Ford Ranger, they are:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class III with 2" receiver, # C13417
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class III with 2" receiver, # e63ZR
Both the Curt # C13417 and etrailer # e63ZR both have a Class III rating with a maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs. but increased to 8K if you use a WDS and a tongue weight of 900 lbs. The option from Curt will have a gloss black powder coated finish and the etrailer option will come in matte black.
For tow wiring harness, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector, # C56431. This wiring harness will quickly and easily install a 7-way, RV-style trailer connector on your Ford Ranger, the connector plugs directly into existing tow connector on your truck so no cutting, splicing or tapping required. I have linked a product review and installation video below.
For a proportional brake controller with this setup, I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller, # C51180.
