Replacement Landing Gear for 1987 Fleetwood Terry 27-1/2-foot 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
The gears on the top of the motor side are shot and wondering if there any replacement parts available. I cannot find a make or model anywhere on the existing equipment but a local company said that it may be an ACME! and they could not find anything to match up to these parts. Help!

Based on my research on the 1987 Terry M27-5G 5th wheel, the Acme OEM landing gear supplied was produced by RBW. I contacted the trailer manufacturer, Fleetwood, but even though you provided your trailer VIN number (thank you) they are unable to provide any specifics about the RBW landing gear on your trailer. Their records go back only to 1990.
According to my research your M27-5G trailer weighs 5725-lbs. If you wish to replace the landing gear you can use the link provided to review all landing gear sets we offer. Powered, side-wind and top-wind types are available in a range of weight capacities and lift heights in both bolt-on and weld-on types.
We recommend using a set that has higher capacity than you actually need since this tends to help these jacks last longer and work better.
