Ordered this hitch not reading any reviews or anything but am VERY happy with the quality and everything! Welds are sweet and heavy duty! Haven't towed anything with much weight but I'm more like 80% sure that it'll do me good! So overall I would recommend this hitch to anyone!

And sorry but I couldn't get a better picture!

by:

Have had the hitch for going on 2-years. We use it to tow a 10x12 flat bed trailer with a SxS and a couple pallets of firewood mostly. Was an easy install. Will be buying another one for our new van soon!

  • Trailer Hitch for 2006 Dodge Sprinter That Fits Around Spare Tire
The spare tire retainer would almost certainly interfere with installing the # 75210, but we do have a hitch that is positioned a bit differently so it would fit perfectly. The Curt # 13250 class III hitch will avoid the spare tire retainer, as shown in the provided photo.

  • Will the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack Fit on a 2005 Dodge Sprinter Van?
I do have a good solution for you, however. I confirmed with Thule that the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack for Sprinter Rear Door # TH302043 will not fit a 2005 Dodge Sprinter Van. However, the next best solution is to use a hitch and a hitch-mounted bike carrier. For the bike rack, I recommend the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches # SH22G along with the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # PVP20B. The great thing about the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 with the Pivot...

  • 2006 Dodge Sprinter Trailer Hitch and Spare Tire Compatibility
We have two hitch receiver options compatible with your 2006 Dodge Sprinter, however both options do require relocating the spare tire. The compatible hitch receivers are the Curt # 13250 you referenced and the Curt # 14250 which has a higher capacity rating. You may want to consider the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125 which won't allow for trailer towing but will allow for flat towing or use of an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier.

  • No Space for Hitch Installation on 2005 Freightliner Sprinter 2500HC
The Curt hitch # 13250 that you referenced is specified as a fit on the 118-inch SRW, 140-inch SRW, 158-inch SRW and the 158-inch DRW versions of the 2005 Freightliner Sprinter HC, but the base model only. If yours is an RV cutaway/cab-and-chassis with modifications and the suspension reaches all the way to the rear bumper then there is no hitch that will fit according to my contact at Curt. We do offer adjustable/universal RV hitches like # 13703 and others shown on the linked page but...

  • Which Trailer Hitch for 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
We have several hitch fits for your 2014 Sprinter, but in order to recommend one, I'd need to know if your Sprinter is a 3/4 ton (2500) or a 1 ton (3500) model. I'll also need to know the wheelbase (distance between front and rear axle, measured center to center) and whether the vehicle has the factory step bumper or the regular bumper. If you can reply with this information, I'd be happy to make some recommendations. You can also click the provided link, and click the arrow on the drop...

  • Hitch and Wiring Fits for 2004 Dodge Sprinter
Both of our primary hitch suppliers, Curt and Draw-Tite, show no vehicle listing for a M-B branded Sprinter for model year 2004. Only a Dodge Sprinter is listed, both 2500-series and 3500-series. You can confirm the correct hitch based on the van's wheelbase and drivetrain. If you click on the "Select Vehicle Style" drop-down menu tool at the top of the linked page you can select your Sprinter's configuration; you will then see the hitches just for that setup. For example, for a 118-inch...

  • Will Installation of Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Require Relocation of Spare on 2003 Dodge Sprinter
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13250 will only require spare tire relocation if you have the 118" wheel base model. If your 2003 Dodge Sprinter has the 140" or 158" wheel base you will not need to relocate your spare tire. The picture you saw was on a model where the spare could remain in place. If you do have the 118" wheel base model, there is not a trailer hitch offered that will allow you to keep your spare tire in the factory location. The only option would be to mount it in a...

  • Trailer Hitch for 2004 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 with Factory Step Bumper
Yes, we have the Draw Tite hitch part # 75210 as a confirmed fit for your 2004 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 that has the factory step bumper. Draw Tite states that on vehicles with factory step bumper, bumper mounting brackets will be re-attached at original position with fasteners provided with hitch.

  • Which Trailer Hitches Fit a 2006 Dodge or Freightliner Sprinter without a Step Bumper
There are 5 versions of the 2006 Dodge/Freightliner Sprinter so to determine if there is a hitch that will fit we have to look at which specific model you have. If you have the 118 inch wheelbase, single rear wheel model you can use # 13250 or # 14250 If you have the 140 inch wheelbase, single rear wheel model you can use the same Curt hitches above as well as # 75210 If you have the 140 inch wheelbase, dual rear wheel model you can use # 13265 If you have the 158 inch wheelbase, single...

  • Trailer Hitch for 2006 Dodge Sprinter, 118 Inch Wheelbase that Doesnt Require Modifying Step Bumper
Your 2006 Dodge Sprinter with 118 inch wheelbase and step bumper should look like the one in the picture I have included. The hitch does fit models with the factory step bumper. You will not have to modify the vehicle at all to install the hitch. The only special step is to snap off a corner of the included spacer plates (for models with step bumper only). The plates are designed for this. I have included a link to the instructions and a link to a video showing installation for you. The...

  • 2-Inch Hitch for 2004 Dodge Sprinter with 140-Inch Wheelbase for Use with Hitch Bike Rack
For use with a 2-inch hitch bike carrier I recommend the Curt Class III hitch # 13250 as it is a confirmed fit on your 2004 Dodge Sprinter with step bumper and 140-inch wheelbase. Class IV hitch # 14250 fits your van too but for use with a bike rack you will not need this hitch's 1000-lb tongue weight (TW) capacity, so the Curt # 13250, rated for 600-lbs TW, will be a great choice that actually costs you less. The linked photo shows you the appearance of the hitch and step bumper after...

  • Does Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver 13250 Require Spare Tire To Be Relocated
I can definitely understand your confusion, and in short they are both correct. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13250 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2006 Dodge Sprinter, and will only require tire relocation if you have the 118" wheel base model. If your Sprinter has the 140" or 158" wheel base you will not need to relocate your spare tire. With that said, if you do have the 118" wheel base model, there is not a trailer hitch receiver offered that will allow you to keep...

  • When Installing Curt Trailer Hitch On 2005 Dodge Sprinter Is Vehicle Modification Required
As the instructions for the Curt Hitch # 13250 state, the spare tire will need to be relocated, the hanger bracket will need to be modified, and you will have to drill two 9/16 inch holes in the frame using the trailer hitch as a template. And existing holes in the frame will need to be enlarged to 1-1/8 inches. As far as promoting rust, the hitch is powder coated steel, and is corrosion resistant.
