What 4-Way and 7-Way Connector do You Recommend for My 2021 Ford Bronco?
Question:
Thank you for the information. What I am looking for is the same connector that comes on the Bronco from the factory. It has the flat 4 pin connection on one side and the round 7 pin connector on the other. Do you know if this is available in after market parts?

From the sound of your question, it sounds like you are wanting an option for both a 4-way and a 7-way to install into your 2021 Ford Bronco and do not currently have any wiring. For a plug-in 4-way harness, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK99VR. However, you need a separate wiring harness in addition to the # TK99VR to have the 7-way installed. For that part, that is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7. Once you install the # ETBC7, you will have access to both a 4-way and a 7-way plug.
To add a brake controller to the setup, I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180. Apart from the Bluetooth capability, the Echo does not require any additional wiring in order to install with your 7-way. It does not require any tools to install.
If you need a hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # DT37GR. The Draw-Tite provides you with more towing weight capacity than the competitor Curt Hitch # C76WR, which ultimately allows you to tow up to 1,000 more pounds. As with all trailer hitches, I recommend consulting with your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure that your vehicle can handle the amount of weight you wish to tow.
