Very durable, easy install. My wife (her Bronco) did the install and I helped (she didn't know how to use a torque wrench). Task was complete in under fifteen minutes. Over fifty percent savings compared to buying from Ford.

by:

Pretty easy to install. Has never loosened.
I use it for a bike rack on our Bronco.

by:

Super easy install (like 5-10 minutes) and very high quality. I did not torque to the recommended value because the frame is boxed and it did not appear to have sleeves, but all I will be doing with the hitch is hauling bikes and using a Twistep dog loading device.

Fit and finish is still intact and the passivated zinc fasteners are holding up...no complaints whatsoever! I do believe other companies have come up with similar solutions, and similar products can be found that are less expensive...but some of them require removal of the rear bumper this product does not.

Hitch arrived quickly and was very easy to install on my Ford Bronco. Additionally, the price was half of what the Ford hitch would’ve cost. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Thank you for letting us know about this! I see that our customer service team is sending out the missing hardware. I am sorry you had to wait even longer to be able to use the hitch.

2021 Ford Bronco

The Curt trailer hitch receive works like a champ.
The wiring kit however does not work on non-led Broncos (base models like Big Bend) without some modification. I'm attaching a link to a [online] video that shows how to make it work. I did it b and I'm good to go.

Easy to install, great instructions and really appreciate the follow-up from e-trailer. This is the second hitch I've purchased through e-trailer, and they did not disappoint!

It is a good product and easy to instal l.

by:

etrailer has always been a great resource. Have not had issues in past. The part/item number they assigned the hitch I bought did not align with what was delivered. The price was almost $[XX] more than other vendors. Quite disappointing and not what I’ve come to expect from this company. Returning product on principle despite being charged for shipping.

2022 Ford Bronco

I’m satisfied with my recent purchase of a Curt trailer hitch receiver for my new Ford Bronco. It fit the Bronco’s frame very well and we used the existing bolt holes with no modifications required to hitch or frame. The bolts provided were too long for my model. So I replaced them with the appropriate length bolts during installation. I could have used the existing bolts with washers for spacers but decided not to. No big deal, at least I had the option! I really liked the powder coat finish. It went well with the existing finish on the Bronco. Ford did not offer a hitch option when I ordered the vehicle. I’m thankful Curt had an off the shelf option available once we took delivery. The ordering, tracking and shipping/delivery process went off without any issues, always a good thing now days!

I as well am not an engineer but I can tell you that Draw-Tite has built and tested the Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT37GR strong enough to be able to handle 675lbs of tongue weight and a trailer weight of 4,500lbs. You do want to take into consideration that while the receiver is rated for these numbers you will still not want to exceed the specifications on your 2021 Ford Bronco. Yes, both the Curt # C76WR and the Draw-Tite # DT37GR are compatible with your 2-Door 2022 Ford Bronco. I like the Draw-Tite hitch a little more just because it has a mounting bracket to easily connect the wiring. If you plan on using this hitch for towing then you'll also need the Wiring # TK99VR if you have LED lights or the Wiring # TK33VR if you don't have LED lights, as well as wiring bracket # 18144 (plus the No-Drill # 18140 if you use the Curt Hitch). • Difference Between Curt and Draw-Tite Hitch for 2024 Ford Bronco
There are two key differences between the Draw-Tite # DT37GR and Curt # C76WR for your 2024 Ford Bronco. The first is the capacity. The Draw-Tite has a max gross trailer weight of 4,500 lbs and tongue weight of 675 lbs while the Curt is 3,500/350. Depending on the Bronco model you have your towing capacity is either 3,500 or 4,500 lbs so I recommend checking your owner's manual to be sure. The other main difference is the receiver length. There is an option for a 2-bike rack for your 2022 Ford Bronco with the Sasquatch package that includes 315/70-17 tires, assuming you have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C76WR. The reason I say that is because when we installed this on a Bronco with standard tires 255/70-16 tires (which are 10" wide), it measured 12" from the center of the hitch pin hole to clear the spare.
