There is no specific route to take or a right or wrong way to run the power wire to the battery when installing wiring harness # 118488 on your 2007 Lexus ES 350. Basically, there are a few different methods that you can use to route the power wire depending on what works best for you.
The easiest way is to route the wire down, under the vehicle, follow along a frame rail or existing harness, up to the front of the vehicle, and up through the engine compartment to the battery (on vehicles that are set up this way of course). With this method you would have to be sure to avoid any hot items or moving parts that could damage the wire.
Then connecting the power wire to the battery is easy. You take the yellow fuse holder and, without the fuse in it, cut the yellow wire in have. Connect one end to the wire you ran and attach the other end to the positive battery terminal. The very last step in the installation would be to insert the fuse. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a link to an FAQ article I wrote on routing the power wire.
