Recommended Trailer Hitch for Towing 4 Kayaks on Small Trailer with 2015 Honda Fit
Question:
Im interested in attaching a hitch to haul a small trailer that will carry anywhere from 2-4 kayaks at a time, a couple bikes, and camping gear. Im not sure which hitch is the best one for me. Im actually pretty clueless here. Help please :

I have two different hitches I'd recommend for towing a small kayak trailer with your 2015 Honda Fit.
For a standard Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening, I'd recommend the # 24920 Draw-Tite hitch you'd looked at. This is a standard hitch that would be fully visible once installed. If you go this route, you'll also need a ball mount like # 3593, along with a # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.
If you'd prefer a hitch with the more prevalent 2 inch receiver opening that would be mostly concealed once installed (with the exception of the receiver tube and the safety chain loops, the rest of the hitch would be concealed behind the bumper), go with the EcoHitch # 306-X7273. You'll also need a # D-28 ball mount, a # PC3 hitch pin and # 19261 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
You'll also need a # 118767 trailer wiring harness.
If you don't already have the trailer for carrying your kayaks, we offer the Malone LowMax kayak trailer, part
# MPG462G2 which can carry 4 kayaks.
I've linked to install videos for both hitches mentioned above.
