I am interested in this anti-rattle device but have been told that it is no longer available as the configuration for a 2 1/2inch hitch has changed. If you still have this produce RM-062 can you confirm that the inside dimension width of the U-bolt is 3 1/2? Thank you for your time on this matter.

I ran out to our warehouse and pulled a Roadmaster Quiet Hitch, part # RM-062 off the shelf. If you refer to the accompanying photo I have edited for you, you can see the dimensions of the item. As you can see, the interior side-to-side dimension of the U-bolt is 4-3/16 by 3-9/16 inches.

For an anti-rattle device that can be used on a 3 inch hitch application we have the XL Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock part #SHP2040-XL which would go into the shank of your 3 inch hitch an can be used with a sleeve adapter as well.

Is the situation that you have a DiversiTech ball mount with a 2" shank that you're using with a 2-1/2" receiver? We have some anti-rattle devices that could help but it will help if I can get some photos of what you have going on.
