Thank you for your purchase from etrailer of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13149 for your 2014 Toyota RAV4. The bolts aren't too big, you just need to clean the weld nuts. What you'll need to do is use a spray lubricant such as WD-40, and clean them with the correct size nylon brush:

- Nylon Tube Brush - 1/2" # 814092

I spoke to a tech over at Curt and the arm brackets on the #C13149 have an overall length of 10 1/2 inches. The mounting holes are 7 inches apart from center to center. Please keep in mind this is custom fit for a 2006 to 2018 Honda RAV4.
