The legs of the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000lbs Item # C16140 have a simple pin and clip to attach to the bed rails. If the clips have been pulled and the pins are too tight to get out I recommend using some WD40 and trying to work them side to side to loosen them up and then trying to pull them out.

If you used a different brand base rail system than Curt that may be the cause of the bind and I recommend switching to the correct Curt branded base rail for your vehicle.
