I would start by using a Circuit Tester # PTW2991 to test your connection at the truck (4-way or 7-way). This will help you to determine where to begin looking.

If you are not getting any lights at the connector, I would first follow the connection and look for damaged wiring or a connection that came undone. If still nothing check your fuses and relays on your 2012 Ford F-250. There are quite a lot of them that are tied into the towing circuits. In the engine compartment fuses 22, 26, 70, 90, 100 and relays 29, 74, 75, 102. Passenger Compartment fuses 13, 14, 15, 30 and 31.

If you have power at the truck connection and nothing on the trailer I would begin by checking the connections and following them back to the lights. Depending on your trailer the trailer connection may or may not run into a connection box. Insect there for damaged wires/connections and ensure a good ground wire connection. Be sure to check all the ground connections for connection as well as the wiring.
