I can understand where weight capacities and limits can be confusing. Your 2016 R-pod 179 dry weight is 2649 lbs with a payload of 1136 lbs. Total you are looking at 3785 lbs with a tongue weight just under 300 lbs. It is true that you do not want your weight distribution set up to extremely exceed the weight capacity of the trailer weight however, I always recommend exceeding it by at least 100 lbs just to cover yourself.
I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Item # FA92-00-0450. It has a 450 lb max tongue weight which only exceeds your trailer tongue weight capacity by 150 lbs. A maximum towing weight of 4500lbs which only exceeds your gross trailer weight by 700 lbs. It includes the shank, has sway control, and allows backing. It will however, require a 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/4" Long Shank Item # 40038.
Item # C17050 has a tongue weight capacity of 600 lbs which exceeds your trailer by 300+ and a 6000 lb gross trailer weight rating which exceeds your maximum trailer weight by 2000 lbs. I would say that is probably extremely exceeding the weight of the trailer and would not recommend using it for your R-pod.
What you absolutely do not want to do is exceed the tongue weight and towing weight of the hitch on your 2010 Lexus RX350 or the vehicles maximum towing capacity.
I have included a link to the instillation with a 2019 Rav4. The installation process with your 2010 Lexus RX350 and 2016 R-pod is going to be the same.
