Recommended Hitch and Wiring for 2017 Ford Transit T250
Question:
Interested in a bolt on trailer hitch for a 2017 Ford Transit 250. I will be pulling a 6x12 trailer with maybe 700 lbs. I need at hitch and a light kit with A Flat 4 plug. What would your recommend and how much?

For the hitch I recommend using the etrailer # e98842, which will give you a reliable hitch with a 2" receiver for your T250. For the wiring I recommend using the Curt T-Connector # C56327. This is a plug and play installation and will provide you with a 4-way flat plug for your trailer.
To complete your towing package you'll also need a ball mount, hitch ball, hitch pin and clip. I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which comes with 2 ball mounts with varying rise and drop, both a 1-7/8" and 2" hitch ball, hitch pin, clip and carrying case. This is a great solution to allow you to cover a variety of different towing setups you might encounter.
